Member Code of Conduct & Standard Operating Policy (SOP)
This policy establishes the standards of conduct, operational guidelines, and professional expectations required of all members of the GAH Elite Club (“the Club”). It is designed to protect the integrity, reputation, and value of the Club while ensuring a respectful, professional, and mutually beneficial environment for all members, partners, and stakeholders.
This policy applies to all individual and corporate members of the GAH Elite Club, including their representatives, affiliates, and guests when participating in Club-related activities, events, communications, or promotions.
Member Code of Conduct
Professional Etiquette
Members are required to:
- Maintain courteous, respectful, and professional communication at all times.
- Refrain from inappropriate language, harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior.
- Comply with all event guidelines, schedules, and dress codes when representing the Club.
Confidentiality
Members must:
-  Not disclose private or sensitive information relating to other members or the Club’s internal operations without prior written consent.
- Â Strictly adhere to all Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) or confidentiality clauses signed during onboarding or participation in Club activities.

Responsible Use of
Membership Privileges:
- Membership benefits, including but not limited to event discounts, magazine features, and exclusive access, are strictly limited to the registered member or approved company.
- Members shall not transfer, sell, or misuse Club privileges.
- Unauthorized use of the Club’s name, logo, or brand assets for personal gain, endorsements, or promotions is prohibited.

Conflict of Interest
Members are required to:
- Disclose any actual or potential personal or professional conflicts of interest that may affect Club activities, partnerships, or decision-making.
- Refrain from soliciting, competing with, or undermining the Club’s official offerings, partners, or operations.

Engagement and Deadlines
Members are expected to:
- Submit requested materials (including biographies, photographs, logos, and profiles) within specified timelines.
- Attend scheduled meetings, networking sessions, and events, or provide timely responses to official communications.

Prohibited Conduct
Members shall no:
- Use the Club or its platforms for unlawful, unethical, or fraudulent activities.
- Harass, intimidate, or threaten other members, staff, partners, or guests.
- Demand services, benefits, or deliverables beyond those explicitly included in their membership tier.
- Engage in conduct that damages or risks damaging the reputation, credibility, or goodwill of the GAH Elite Club or its partners.

Media and Branding Guidelines
Members must:
- Obtain prior written approval before using GAH Elite Club branding for co-branded campaigns, events, or promotions.
- Ensure all media, content, photographs, videos, and captions featuring the Club reflect professionalism and align with the Club’s brand image.
- Avoid misrepresentation of the Club in public statements, interviews, press releases, or media engagements.

Event and Networking Etiquette
Members are required to:
- RSVP promptly for all Club events to secure access and assist with planning.
- Maintain decorum, professionalism, and respect toward event staff, speakers, and fellow attendees.
- Ensure all business cards, brochures, and promotional materials distributed at events meet professional standards and align with the Club’s values.

Disciplinary Actions:
Violations of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at the sole discretion of the GAH Elite Club Executive Leadership Team, following due review:
1. Written warning.
2. Temporary suspension of membership privileges.
3. Permanent termination of membership without refund.
Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP) for Members
8.1 Onboarding Requirements
To activate membership, members must submit:
- A signed Acceptance Letter and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
- A professional biography (maximum 300 words).
- Four to five (4–5) high-quality professional photographs.
- Business or brand logo and company profile or brochure.
- Official social media handles for campaign tagging.
- Written acknowledgment confirming review and acceptance of this policy.
8.2 Member Benefits Activation
Upon successful onboarding, members may access:
- Quarterly magazine and publicity features.
- Invitations to exclusive Elite Networking Brunches and GAH Elite Club events.
- Premium seating and product placement at major Club events.
- Exclusive discounts with approved partner brands across fashion, luxury, travel, and beauty sectors.
8.3 Communications
- All official communications will be issued exclusively via [gaheliteclub@gmail.com](mailto:gaheliteclub@gmail.com) or other designated official Club email addresses.
- Members are responsible for whitelisting Club email addresses to ensure timely receipt of updates and notices.
9. Review and Amendments
This Code of Conduct and SOP will be reviewed at least every twelve (12) months or as required to reflect evolving standards, legal requirements, or operational needs. Members will be notified of any updates through official Club communications.
10. Scope of Engagement
10.1 Obligations of GAH Elite Club
The GAH Elite Club agrees to provide the Member with the following, subject to active membership status and compliance with Club policies:
- Inclusion in the GAH Elite Club network, official events, and recognition programs.
- Access to premium member benefits, including visibility in the GAH Elite Club Magazine, spotlight opportunities at official events, curated networking engagements, and product placement where applicable.
- Use of the Member’s submitted brand materials (including logos, images, and videos) strictly for agreed publicity and promotional activities across the Club’s official platforms.
- Confidential handling of sensitive personal and business information shared during onboarding or participation in Club activities.
10.2 Obligations of the Member
- The Member agrees to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely onboarding and promotional materials, including biography, brand logo, company profile or brochure, promotional video, high-quality photographs, and any other required information.
- Adhere fully to the GAH Elite Club Code of Conduct and uphold the Club’s values, reputation, and professional standards in all interactions.
- Engage with the Club in a professional manner and refrain from making demands or requests outside the agreed scope of membership benefits.
- Respect and comply with all deadlines related to submissions, approvals, event participation, and communications as issued by the Club.
11. Boundaries and Limitations
- The GAH Elite Club shall not be obligated to provide personal errands, administrative assistance, or services beyond those expressly included in the Member’s agreed benefits.
- The Member acknowledges that certain benefits, including event recognition, media placement, and product placement, are subject to availability, scheduling constraints, editorial discretion, and internal approval processes.
- Nothing in this policy or related Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) shall be construed as creating an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Parties.
12. Confidentiality
Both Parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all non-public, proprietary, or sensitive information exchanged during the course of the membership. Such information shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.
13. Intellectual Property
- All logos, photographs, promotional videos, and branded materials provided by the Member shall remain the sole intellectual property of the Member.
- The Club is granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use such materials strictly within the scope of this policy and any executed MoU, solely for branding, recognition, and publicity purposes.
14. Duration and Termination
- This engagement shall commence on the date of execution of the relevant MoU and remain valid for the duration of the Member’s active membership unless terminated earlier.
- Either Party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days’ written notice, subject to fulfillment of any outstanding obligations.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this policy or the related MoU shall be resolved amicably through mediation. Where mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration laws.
16. Governing Law
This policy and any related Memorandum of Understanding shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
17. Payment and signing up
All members are required to make full payment and sign an acknowledgment confirming that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this GAH Elite Club Member Policy, Code of Conduct, and applicable SOPs as a condition of membership
Please Note:
All membership fees, onboarding fees, event fees, or related payments made to the GAH Elite Club are strictly non-refundable once payment has been completed and membership signup has been confirmed.
By signing up and executing the required membership documentation, the Member expressly acknowledges and agrees that no refunds, credits, or chargebacks shall be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, non-participation, suspension, or termination of membership
This provision shall survive termination of membership and remain enforceable in accordance with applicable law.
